I already accepted a refund after I complained to the Agent but I don't think it's enough. Can I still lodge a complaint with AFTA?

Yes, you can. However it is unlikely that a further refund will be determined.

When you accept an offer, it is usually in full and final settlement of the matter and if it is established that this has occurred, then it is unlikely that a further refund would be awarded to you.

If you have been made an offer but find it unsatisfactory, you should decline that offer and lodge a complaint with AFTA.

AFTA may still investigate other aspects of your complaint that relate to the Code.
