What is ACAC?

The ATAS Complaints Appeal Committee (ACAC) is an independent review committee. Where a complainant is not satisfied with the outcome of a review by the ATAS Compliance Manager, they may appeal to ACAC who will review the complaint and make a determination.

ACAC may impose a range of sanctions after an investigation of your complaint. These include: 

  • Rectification orders;
  • Improvement notices;
  • Warning notices;
  • Publication orders;
  • Public notification;
  • Re-training order; or
  • Suspension or cancellation of ATAS accreditation.
